This is an excellent opportunity to further your leadership expertise in an achievement oriented and supportive culture and to contribute to the growth and revitalisation of Subiaco.Reporting to the Director of Technical Services this role leads our engineering team and is responsible for: Planning, design and delivery of engineering capital works projects.Management of the works program, budget and timeframes in consultation with all stakeholders.Development of 5 and 10 year capital works programs for Infrastructure and Fleet.Asset management.Traffic management and road safety improvement.Strategic transport planning.Fleet and depot management.Coordinate and implement sustainability initiatives.To be successful in this role you will need:Experience in leadership of an engineering team.Understanding of the principles and legislative requirements of local government.Strong project management expertise and problem solving skills.Excellent leadership and team management skills.High level communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated strategy and policy development skills.Strong financial management and budgeting skills.This position is full time and will be offered as a permanent contractThis position comes with a salary range of $140,000 to $148,000 dependent on experience, a $12,500 motor vehicle allowance, 9.5% employer superannuation and up to an additional 5% employer co-contribution to superannuation, 5 weeks annual leave, subsidised gym membership, a rostered day off per month and a range of health and wellbeing benefits.We pride ourselves on our culture and demonstrate our values of Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, and Customer Service.People of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
