The City of Subiaco is transforming with significant change and evolution in terms of residential options, the commercial sector, retail, entertainment, leisure and recreation. We navigate this change in partnership with the community, business and stakeholders, whilst also celebrating Subiaco’s’ heritage, history and culture.The Coordinator Land and Property role is now available. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the City’s commercial and social property portfolios, and other land transactions. The role would suit someone with a background in commercial property management, property development and/or property law.The role has one direct report, being the Property Officer.As the Coordinator Land and Property, you will:Manage the City’s commercial and social property portfolio.Be the contract manager for all leases/licenses.Build positive relationships with commercial tenants and respond to their queries.Seek to increase commercial property portfolio net return on investment.Negotiate and procure the preparation of leases, licenses, renewals, extensions, assignments, variations and easements as required from time to time.Undertake land transactions including acquisitions, divestments and small-scale developments. Undertake due diligence.
