The City of Subiaco is one of Perth’s most recognised and treasured inner-city precincts. In recent years Subiaco has seen significant change and evolution in terms of residential options, the commercial sector, retail, entertainment, leisure and recreation.We are seeking an experienced health and fitness professional to join our team at Lords Recreation Centre as a Team Leader Gym. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic group of trainers and promote a high standard of service delivery. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a wonderful, vibrant and exciting atmosphere for clients, support and lead the team that provides the latest knowledge in physical fitness and demonstrate the City of Subiaco’s values of Respect, Integrity, Customer Service and Teamwork.Requirements:Highly developed and proven interpersonal, communication and leadership skillsHands-on, positive and proactive attitude to lead the gym teamDemonstrated ability to establish, develop, implement and maintain new systems, strategies and proceduresKnowledge of rules, regulations and guidelines in relation to conducting gymnasium and fitness activitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in coordinating personal training and gym programsWell developed ability to use corporate computer systemsCertificate IV in Health and Fitness. Desirable relevant tertiary level qualification in Health and Fitness and/or relevant work experienceCurrent senior first aid certificateDesirable:Police ClearanceDriver’s licenseWhat the City of Subiaco can offer you:Your health and safety and wellbeing are our priority.
